Vertical Farm

This was my teams final project for our EK 210 class. My partners, Patrick Agri, Charles Thao, Hael Hanson, and I designed and built a vertical farm. In order to build a fully functional farm we included a pump to water plants and an LED array which operated on a schedule to maximize plant growth. We decided our farm would be an aeroponic farm meaning the roots of the plants would hang in air and be misted with water regularly.

I was responsible for the creating the CAD for the farm as well as fabricating the metal parts by cutting down 8020 aluminum. I also created the bill of materials and instructed my partners on how to assemble the parts I machined.
