Project Overview
The mission of GrowPro was to create an all-in-one agriculture sensor which could detect and record changes in temperature, humidity, light density, and nutrient content. When I joined the project, the company had just secured its first round of funding through a Boston University accelerator program.
My Contributions
When I first joined I was tasked with designing and fabricating a holder for a collection of purchased sensors. Someway through my time with GrowPro it was decided that we could develop our own custom sensor using a custom PCB. I helped develop that sensor in EAGLE as well as modifying my holder design for the new sensor. Pictured below is actually only one part of the holder, which accompanied the part of the sensor which needed to be placed into the planting soil to detect nutrient levels.
